Hi Everyone,
Here we are into the fourth round and our three women’s team will finally start their season on Friday evening!
Our Div 3 WBL team plays West Torrens at Home on Friday evening from 6pm. Good luck to you all!
Our T-Ball program kicks off as well on Friday evening from 6pm using our Main diamond.
This season will see eight teams of T-Ballers spread out across the grounds and having fun.
Our Sunday Seniors play at Home against the West Torrens Eagles.
Our Div 1 game starts at 3pm, so come out and cheer them on for their first win of the season.
They will follow the Div 2 team starting at 12:30pm who follow the Div 3 game from 10am.

ARMCHAIR UMPIRE – YOU MAKE THE CALL
Situation: Runner on First, no outs.
The hit and run play is on as the runner takes off with the pitch.
The ball is hit to the second baseman.
The runner runs out of his baseline to avoid the fielder fielding the ball.
The second baseman throws to first to retire the batter runner.
Should the runner be called out for running around the second baseman? (see below)
DODGER’S HALLOWEEN PARTY TIME
Our Annual Gala Halloween Party is this Saturday, 31 October, from 6pm.
A SPOOK-TACULAR FESTIVAL OF FUN for all ages!

LA DODGER’S WIN THE WORLD SERIES!
After a 32 year drought, the Dodgers finally come away with the chocolates.
Last time they won the Championship was in 1988.
They have been in three of the last four World Series with no joy until now – and Oh! What a feeling!
They beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4 games to 2 in the best of seven series.

Our Club Night meals will be provided by our Div 5 team.
They will be serving Chicken Wraps and Chips for $5!
Senior team selections will be posted shortly thereafter.
Be sure to let your coach know that you are available to play.
DODGER’S ‘50’ CLUB Draw –
We are doing it again! The ‘50’ Club Draw fundraiser!
Tickets are $50 each. Pick your winner number/ticket from the scorecard at the bar.
We still have a few numbers available for our ’50 Club’ fundraiser.
Pick your winning number/ticket from the scorecard at the bar.
When all the numbers are sold, a lucky number will be drawn every Thursday night for a $50 prize.
All weekly winner’s numbers will be placed back into the barrel for more chances to win!

The runner established a new baseline to avoid the collision/obstruction.
He is NOT out for ‘illegally’ avoiding a tag.
