Dear All,
I trust this finds you all safe and keeping well.
‘Collections’ are finally happening due to the relaxing of some Covid-19 restrictions.
A maximum of 20 people are allowed under the veranda / 20 in the clubroom. (Staff are not included in these numbers)
SATURDAY COLLECTIONS – 20 JUNE 2020
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, this is NOT a Team awards presentation ceremony – it is for PICK UP ONLY.
It is solely for the collection of medallions, photos, and trophies, if awarded, for our Club’s players.
Our Secretary, Anne Christensen, has recently completed a government Covid-19 course and we will be following her instructions on the day.
Please download the ‘COVID-19’ app if you haven’t done so already and have it active while on site.
The PICK UP TIMES for each team are below.
JUNIOR COLLECTIONs – FROM 11AM TO 1PM
Please adhere to the following Covid 19 rules:
MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES
One parent/caregiver allowed with each player in the veranda area.
Enter through double doors near the canteen.
Sanitize your hands at the door on entry.
You will need to sign in with your contact details
Once you have collected your photo, medal, and trophy – if awarded –
had a chat to the coach and had a photo taken with your coach, then
Please promptly exit via the car park door.
(Photos will be posted on FB)
We have allowed 15 minutes for each team

Yes, AJ is still here! Borders are closed with no flights available to Venezuela.
So, he is still enjoying our Aussie hospitality. It will be good to see him again.
SENIOR COLLECTIONs – FROM 1PM – 3PM

Once you have collected your memorabilia, had a chat to the coach, then,
You are welcome to have a chat and a refreshment from the bar. (No standing at the bar) ALL PURCHASES WILL BE BY CARD ONLY.

Groups can be formed on the lawn area – maximum 80 people. Bring your woolly jumpers.

We will have a limited amount of Club items available for sale on the day.
All sales will be CARD ONLY.
We have Blue Dodgers Hoodies and a few Grey Dodgers Hoodies at $40 each.
Some Hats, Beanies, Training tops, Polo tops and ¾ sleeve Dodgers T-shirts

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SESSION
Please join us for this unique opportunity to prep our diamonds.
With no Winter Baseball being played on our grounds this winter due to the Covid-19 virus, we are able to do some early pre-season work.
We will be working on the diamonds’ cut-outs on Saturday, 27 June from 10am – weather permitting.
Please bring a shovel and wheelbarrow if you have them

GGCD AGM and JUNIOR ACADEMY – on hold
Due to the Covid virus restrictions, these functions are still on hold.
They are still being looked at in keeping with what future restrictions may allow.
